Jerry Hull

Jerry Hull is an Associate of TranSystems|The ACCESS Group with over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles. He has extensive experience in implementing Lean Principles in many types of industries including aerospace, electronics, building materials and automotive. Jerry has performed a wide variety of management assignments including operations manager for a large electrical component manufacturer and site manager for lean implementation. 

For the past 12 years Jerry has implemented lean principles in various management capacities and in many industries.  He began his career at Delco Remy, a division of General Motors, as a Manufacturing Supervisor. Jerry advanced through the years to the top leadership team. He has a proven record with leading lean transformation from the top management down. He has experience teaching and training upper management, as well as bringing the training down to the supervisor and associate level for implementation. Jerry also worked in purchasing with the Steering Division of Delphi Corporation as a Lean Supplier Development Leader for various industries worldwide. Jerry has worked the past 5 years with a variety of companies to implement lean operating systems.  He has had the opportunity to work with various companies, as well as various products, and processes.  He has experience in electronics, fabrication, stamping, sub-assembly, final assembly, molding, machining, powdered metal, heat treating, coatings, product testing, die casting, mold and die machine shops, and special machine build companies.

 Jerry has applied lean systems to many aspects of businesses, such as customer ordering, the HR hiring process, office administration, and new product launch. Jerry’s skills help organizations understand their current state, create a future state vision, lead the transformation process, and put sustaining tools in place to drive continuous improvement. He also keeps the team focused on putting lean systems in to drive lean behavior from everyone in the organization. Clients Jerry has worked with find his approach and methods simple and easy to understand. Jerry’s expertise in developing lean leaders, while leading the transformation, provides added value in which companies can benefit many times over.

Jerry has a degree in Business Administration from Ball State University and an Industrial Technology Degree at Purdue University in Indiana. He also has had many certifications in management, configuration management, advanced lean college, and Green Belt Six Sigma certified.
